Tamilselvi then held the position of Senior Research Fellow for two years in the “All India network research project on onion and garlic”, in the Department of Vegetable Crops, Horticulture College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore.
She was awarded with a Postdoctoral fellowship under University Grants Commission (UGC) for 2016-2017 and is continuing her research at the Department of Vegetable Crops, Horticultural College and Research Institute, TNAU, Coimbatore. Her areas of research include breeding and grafting in vegetable crops.
